Attestation
In order to receive payments from the Florida Medicaid EHR Incentive Program, Eligible Professionals (EPs) and Eligible Hospitals (EHs) must submit statements via an application process that they have met all eligibility and participation requirements.
The process of providing these statements is called attestation. The provider or hospital must attest, i.e., legally state, through the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program application that they have met all of the eligibility criteria, including having adopted, implemented, upgraded and demonstrated meaningful use of certified EHR Tecnology.
For the initial adopt, implement, or upgrade stage providers need to report core and menu set objectives. Attestation includes patient volume reports, documentation supporting adoption, implementation or upgrading (AIU), and system certification.
