KidCare Program Evaluation

The Vendor shall perform data research, analysis and develop, and submit an evaluation of the efficacy of services provided by the Florida KidCare program.  The evaluation shall include information regarding the parent-reported satisfaction with care that children receive while in the program; access to information regarding health care; performance assessment using Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and other measures; racial and ethnic disparities; trends in unmet health care needs for children; analysis of policy changes by the Legislature; and analysis of disenrollment and non-renewals.  As a result of the evaluation, the Vendor shall provide the Agency with results to complete the Medicaid outcomes/performance-based programming budget report, and develop and submit to the Agency an annual evaluation report, which the Agency will provide to the Governor, the House and the Senate pursuant to section 409.8177, Florida Statutes (F.S.).
