Uninsured Study Group
According to a 2005 U.S. Census Bureau Study, Florida is ranked 3rd in the nation for number of uninsured, with 3.6 million Floridians lacking health insurance. The Agency's Uninsured Study Group serves as a forum to pull together the current, best thinking on ways to address the problem in Florida. The members of the study group represent government agencies and private stakeholders who are working cooperatively to address this important issue.
