Comprehensive Rehabilitation Patient Data
Comprehensive Rehabilitation Patient Data is collected from 15 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. For reporting purposes, a rehabilitation hospital is any hospital licensed as a class III special rehabilitation hospital, with comprehensive medical rehabilitation beds.
Comprehensive Rehabilitation Inpatient Discharge Data is collected in accordance with Section 408.061, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 59E-7.201, Florida Administrative Code. These laws require that all comprehensive inpatient hospitals, in operation for any of the reporting periods described in subsection 59E-7.202(1), F.A.C., report hospital discharge data to the State Center for Health Statistics. The data is used for information guides and research by many that are interested in improving the health of Florida residents.
