The Effect of Financing Arrangements on the Quality of Care and Client
Outcomes of Persons with Severe Mental Illnesses
|
This analysis will assess the extent to which financing arrangements
impact the likelihood that Medicaid recipients with severe mental illnesses
receive mental health treatment that is consistent with recommended practice
guidelines. The analysis also will examine various cross-system individual
outcomes to determine the degree to which adherence with recommended treatment
practice is associated with enhanced individual outcomes.

Identifying Child Predictors of Successful Reunification and Foster Care
Length of Stay After Child Maltreatment and Placement in Florida's Foster
Care System
|
The purpose of this study is to identify child predictors of successful
parent-child reunification and factors contributing to long lengths of
stay in foster care after a documented occurrence of child maltreatment
and foster care placement. Ideally, the set of factors identified can
be used to develop effective interventions targeted to safely reunite
foster care children with reduced length of stay (hence reduced public
costs), and to improve parent and child relations and family functioning.
