X12 Analyzer

Version 1.13

The automated use of standard transactions for updating and reconciling the records of a user's business management system is a significant benefit of Administrative Simplification. Testing the results of code changes designed to accommodate the new format is a challenge facing both the software developer and end user.

The X12 Analyzer is a diagnostic tool that allows the display of X12 data in a user-friendly format. The X12 Analyzer produces a print ready spreadsheet of information extracted from 271, 277, 820, 835 and 997 X12 transactions. Error/information codes are shown in the X12 format along with their text descriptions.

The X12 Analyzer program is not intended for use in a production environment, but rather to aid billing agents, vendors, clearinghouses, and large providers in the development of custom software. Other receivers of these transactions may obtain some value in using the analyzer to view their trading partner's outbound transactions.

The "User Documentation" Word document included in the Zip file contains instructions for setting Excel to accept macros. This must be done before the analyzer tool will function. THE STATE OF FLORIDA WILL NOT PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THIS TOOL!
