Medicaid Remittance Banners & Health Care Alerts
Subscription Page

The Florida Medicaid Program has created an email alert system to supplement the present method of receiving remittance banner information and to alert registered providers of "late-breaking" healthcare information. An email will be delivered to your mailbox when Medicaid policy clarifications or other health care information is available that is appropriate for your provider type. All registered providers will receive HIPAA information as it becomes available.

Interested providers can subscribe to the automated alert system by completing the following online form. A confirmation email will be sent to your mailbox to avoid fraudulent subscription requests. Subscribers must return the confirmation email to complete their subscription.

Providers may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions in the footer of each email.

Email address: (Mandatory)
Your name: (Optional)
Provider Number: (Optional)

Health care information and remittance banner messages appropriate for all subscribers will be sent to all active members. To limit your mailings to general information, enter "00" in the provider type input box.

Enter "AREA" in the provider type input box to receive general information and remittance banner messages for all provider types.

Enter your provider type in the input box to receive messages specific for your practice/business. Multiple provider types may be entered if appropriate for your situation. Use the following table to determine the provider type codes that apply to your practice/business. Please leave a space between each entry e.g. 25 35 66. Billing agents, clearinghouses, and software vendors should include provider type "99" in their selection. Segments targeting specific provider types are selected by using the numeric codes from the table below. Entries such as "physician", "waiver provider", or "hospital" will result in incorrect mailings.

Provider Type: (Mandatory)

Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public-records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing. For more information, please read AHCA's privacy policy.

Difficulty subscribing? Questions regarding HIPAA or comments about the "Florida Medicaid Remittance Banner Announcements & Healthcare Alerts" can be sent to the following mailbox: Florida Medicaid Health Care Alerts Administrator.
