Effective October 1, 2003, SB 50-A deletes the Agency's requirement to develop practice parameters for medical procedures relevant to workers' compensation
claimants. Practice Parameters and protocols mandated under 440 "shall be the practice parameters and protocols adopted by the "
United States Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality" in effect on January 1, 2003."
