During the 2002 legislative session House Bill 1643 transferred certain regulatory responsibilities pursuant to section 440.13, Florida Statutes (Medical Services and Supplies) from the Department of Labor and Employment Security to the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), effective July 1, 2002.

Chapter 38F-54 Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.), Expert Medical Advisors, was transferred to AHCA. The rule is 59A-30, F.A.C.

Accordingly, the promulgated form within the rule is AHCA Form 3160-0021 (formerly DWC-98). This is the application form for expert medical advisor certification.
