LICENSURE
The State of Florida, Agency for Health Care Administration, administers the program of licensing
Health Care Risk Managers which was transferred from the Department of Insurance effective
January 1, 1999 pursuant to Sections 395.10971-.10975, F.S. and Sections 59A-10.031-.037, F.A.C.

LICENSED RISK MANAGER SEARCH:
Background Screening
Florida Department of Law Enforcement and FBI fingerprinting must be completed by each applicant every
five years. Please call the Risk Management program office at (850) 487-2717 if you need a fingerprint
card. For additional information regarding background screening requirements that must be submitted with your application, go to the
