An agency that provides skilled services(by nurses, therapists, social workers) and/or unskilled services (by home health aides, certified nursing assistants, homemaker, companions) to patients in their homes. A home health agency may also provide staffing to health care facilities on a temporary basis.
Chapter 59A-8, Minimum Standards for Home Health Agencies
A notice of proposed rule was published on March 1, 2016 in Vol. 42/41 of the Florida Administrative Register.
The Agency is amending the rules relating to home health agencies to update licensing application forms, modify requirements for home health agency satellite offices due to statutory changes, modify requirements relating to survey requirements and geographic service areas, and make technical changes for clarification.
