The Survey and Certification Branch is responsible for monitoring quality improvement/quality assurance indicators, training the survey staff and other Agency staff regarding health care facility surveying functions, and data management and support functions for the Health Quality Assurance Division.
The state regulation sets used by surveyors when recording survey findings.
A standardized definition of items used to improve quality of care by assessing the needs and functional status of residents in long term care facilities that participate in the Medicare and/or Medicaid program.
A uniform core set of data elements used to improve quality of care by enabling measurement of patient outcomes in home health agencies that participate in the Medicare and/or Medicaid program.
